Giving a presentation can be a nerve-wracking experience even if you do it in your own language. It is even more stressful if you have to present in a foreign language so careful planning, knowing how to deliver your message convincingly and the ability to handle your audience are extremely important.

The course is aimed at people who need to present in English in business or academic settings and who want to make sure they do it convincingly and in an appropriate manner.  In addition to enriching students’ business vocabulary and reinforcing their English language skills, the course will focus on the following:

• Structuring a presentation.
• Using visuals.
• Public speaking techniques.
• Creating rapport with the audience.
• Handling questions.

Everything students learn in each session is immediately applied in a short presentation they prepare.  The ones students make in the middle and at the end of the course are filmed so that they can analyse their performance together with the instructor and their group mates.

The course meets 6 times once a week from 18:00 till 21:00.

Minimum level of English required - Intermediate (B2).

• you have been tested and placed at High-Intermediate or Advanced level less than a year before the course;
