Our mission is to help institutions and individuals communicate effectively in a global environment. We do this by helping our students become fully competent users of the English language through facilitating sustainable development of language skills and cultural awareness in a positive friendly atmosphere.

Founded in cooperation with the English Language Institute at the University at Buffalo, the RBS English Language Center (ELC) offers:

1. For Adults (18+):

• General English language courses (96 academic hours/semester)
• Business English language courses (96 academic hours/semester)
• Effective communication in English
• Effective presentations in English
• One-to-One English language courses

2. For corporate clients:

• English language courses 

3. For University Students:

• General English language courses (48 or 96 academic hours/semester)

4. For Young Adults (16-18):

• English language courses (48 academic hours/semester)

5. Test Preparation Courses:

• TOEFL iBT 1 day prep course (12 academic hours)
• TOEFL ITP preparation course (40 academic hours)
• RBS Intellectual test preparation course (44 academic hours)

In order to apply for any of the courses offered by RBS English Language Center, you will have to test your English language proficiency, which includes a test and an interview. Tests are held at Riga Business school, Riga, 11 Skolas Str. The test takes 65-75 min. Please, register for the test in the English language placement tests section, the nearest test dates are available in the Test schedule section. Registration for the interview is right after the test. You can find more information on the application procedure and course fees in the appropriate course section!

In cooperation with the State Employment Agency RBS English Language Center now offers its high quality General and Business English courses through the Lifelong Learning Programme.  The programme is open for currently employed adults and covers up to 250 LVL towards tuition fee. To benefit from the programme obtain a  voucher from the State Employment Agency (’NVA kupons’), take a placement test at RBS ELC and register for the course!
