Ieva Azanda is practicing law in the law firm Borenius Latvia specializing in competition law, corporate and finance law. Her earlier professional experience also include working for European Central Bank Legal services. Having received Master’s degree in law, she continues to pursue Ph.D degree in the University of Leicester.

Bergs Jānis MBA, RTU Riga Business School	Entrepreneurship Entrepreneurial Manager
Jānis Bergs has been working in IT industry since 1993. Over this time period he founded, headed and further developed company Fortech that grew into Pan-Baltic IT corporation Microlink with more than 600 employees and 20 companies . Having sucessfully sold these companies to consortium Baltic Telecoms. Janis Bergs is now the major shareholder and chairman of the Board in the company FMS Ltd. that develops and implements management information software. His other responsibilities include being Board member of LIKTA (Latvian Association of Information and Communication Technologies) and Chairman of Board of Latvian IT Cluster.

Bowen James Ph.D, Carleton University PMP, Project Management Institute CMC	E-business Solutions
At age 21 and still in university James co-founded a software company. Over the next 20 years, his experience covered operations, business development, product development, project delivery and strategy. Dr. Bowen has been interviewed on the internet, radio, magazine, T.V. and newspaper both in North America and Europe. He recently published his 4th book “The Entrepreneurial Effect”. He is associated with 9 universities including 3 in Europe where he teaches MBAs technology, leadership, marketing, supply chain management, project management, entrepreneurship and strategy. In the last decade, he has taught over 120 courses to over 5000 students. He is a member of the Canadian Advanced Technology Alliance’s governing council, the Action Committee on Entrepreneurship and Ottawa’s Innovation Leadership Team. He wrote, for three years, articles discussing the technology industry for a newspaper. He regularly provides advice to technology start-up companies. He is the inventor of an underwater localization system using passive sonar, a task management system and an archaeological object localization system.

Blūma Ingrīda MSc., Stockholm University	Human Resource Management
Ingrīda Blūma’s work experience is mainly related to the banking sector, where she worked for almost 20 years. Working at Hansabanka in the capacity of the Executive Vice President of a company gave a unique business experience in the banking industry and corporate business environment. Under her leadership Hansabanka grew to to become the biggest bank of Latvia. Ingrīda Blūma believes that the formation of a good management team the main and the most important task of a good manager. Her other responsibilities include member of the company PureFood and RBS. Her additional training includes INSEAD Advanced Management Program and Strategic management and leadership training course at EBRD. Ingrīda Blūma also serves on the Advisory Council of RBS.

Eriks Dobelis professional work experience includes working for global consulting companies (Arthur Andersen, Ernst & Young), specializing in IT audit, IT security, and IT governance areas. Since 2006 Eriks has been managing a private consulting company BITI, providing IT consulting services to companies and governmental organizations. At present he is working as Chief Information Officer at Airbaltic. Eriks holds the following professional qualification degrees: CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor), and CISM (Certified Information Security Manager) and Prince 2 practitioner.

Dzedons Andrejs Dr.Sc., Latvian Academy of Sciences MBA, University at Buffalo, State University of New York	Strategic Management Operations and Service Management
Andrejs Dzedons is an Associate Professor at Riga Business School. He has spent 12 years teaching strategic management and operations in the Riga Business School MBA program and has regularly trained and consulted many regional businesses. He holds PhD degree from Latvian Academy of Sciences in power electronics and MBA from State University of NewYork at Buffalo.His research interests include company operations , strategy and distinctive competencies of the companies. Andrejs Dzedons also serves on the RBS Council.

Eglīte Inese MBA, RTU Riga Business School	Marketing Management Marketing Research
Inese Eglite has more than 10 years professional experience in marketing in FMCG and service industry gained in the positions of Marketing Director in Latvijas Balzams, Aizkraukles Banka and Riga Stock Exchange. Since 2001 she has been teaching marketing and marketing research in RBS. She has also been a trainer for the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) and acted as a management consultant for various businesses. Her fields of expertise are international marketing strategy, new product development process and non-traditional marketing. Currently Inese works as the Marketing Director of Valmieras Piens.

Ērgle Daiga MBA, RTU Riga Business School	Human Resource Management
Daiga Ērgle is Vice President Human Resources at airBaltic. Before that she was heading Executive Search branch of Fontes Group - Aims International (member of a global network). Her Human Resource management practitioner’s experience comes from several international companies, including Siemens, Stockmann and Gutta. Her fields of expertise cover General Human Resource management, Executive Search, Assessment & Development. She has HRM consulting, as well as Training background. Some of her professional social roles include active HR Club membership since 1999 and chairing of FICIL’s Labor Committee for the 3 year period from 2007 till 2010. At Riga Business School she has been teaching HRM course since 2008.

Ešmits Mārcis MBA, York University	Marketing Communication Consumer Behaviour International Marketing Management
Marcis Esmits has over 20 years years consulting experience in capacity building and institutional strengthening projects on behalf of various EU, Canadian and international donor agencies. A recent focus has been program evaluations for donor agencies such as CIDA, the European Commission, the World Bank and others. Marcis has also been responsible for establishing new public-private partnership (PPP) programs with chambers of commerce, crown agencies and educational institutions. From October 2000 to December 2002, Marcis Esmits served as Latvia’s Honorary Consul for the Province of Ontario in Canada.

Jānis Grēviņš has been the Director of Riga Business School at Riga Technical University since April 2003. He also serves as the member of Lattelecom Supervisory Council. He is teaching and conducting research on the effects of modern communication means in project management. From 1998 till 2003 J. Grēviņš studied for his PhD and worked as a project coordinator at the School of Management of the University at Buffalo, State University of New York, USA.

Andrejs Jakobsons teaches economics-related courses at Riga Business School as an Adjunct Professor. In recent years he has worked as a researcher at the Baltic International Center for Economic Policy Studies (BICEPS) and a consultant on labor market issues. His research interests include international economics, labor economics and macroeconomics. Previously Andrejs worked as an economist for the World Bank Latvia Office carrying out research and project-related duties (1998-2006). He holds an MA degree in Economics from Indiana University, USA. Andrejs Jakobsons also serves on the RBS Council.

Innus Voldemars MBA, University at Buffalo, State University of New York	Information Technology and Strategy
Voldemars Innus has more than 30 years experience as a service and information Director and Vice-President at the State University of New York at Buffalo providing the leadership, coordination and management to integrate IT planning and implementation efforts by the university community.Voldemars Innus was also instrumental in the creation of Riga Business School and was awarded the Three Star Order for outstanding civil merits in the service of Latvia in 2005 . Voldemars Innus is the chairman of the Advisory Board of RBS.

Kazāks Mārtiņš Ph.D., University of London	International Financial Management
Mārtiņš Kazāks is the Chief Economist at Swedbank AS in Riga. His area of expertise is exchange rate economics, financial market integration, emerging markets. He is the member of the Strategic Analysis Commission under the auspices of the President of the Republic of Latvia. He also serves on the Board of Riga Graduate School of Law. Dr. Kazāks co-teaches International Financial Management at Riga Business School since 2010.

Koliškins Andrejs Ph.D., University of St. Petersburg, Russia M.Math., University of Latvia	Managerial Statistics Marketing Research CFA Level 1 prep course
Andrejs Koliškins is a Professor at Riga Technical University and an Associate profesor of statistics at Riga Business School. He is also a visiting professor teaching at Honkong University of Science and Technology. His research interests involve investigation of stability problems in hydraulics and fluid mechanics with applications to open-channel flows and transient flows in hydraulic systems, mathematical methods for heat and mass transfer problems, mathematical models for eddy current testing problems and business applications of statistics. Andrejs Koliškins has extensive list of academic publications. Andrejs Koliškins also serves on the RBS Council.

Raimonds Lieksnis currently holds the position of as Finance Director in SIA TVG where he develops company financial strategy as well as works with external financers to obtain financing for company’s development. He is also Finance Director of SIA Tilde. Raimonds Lieksnis is working towards his Ph.D candidate in economics at Riga Technical University. His research interests include predictive power of price patterns in the Baltic Stock market. Raimonds Lieksnis also serves on the RBS Council.

Liepa Lauris LL.B, University of Latvia	Business Law Entrepreneurial Finance
Lauris Liepa is a founding partner of the law firm Borenius Latvia specializing in general banking and commercial law, arbitration and litigation. His earlier professional experience includes partnership in a law firm Heidelberga, legal counseling in Deutsch-Lettische Bank and legal counseling to Latvian Radio and TV Council. Lauris Liepa is a member of Latvian Bar Association, International Bar Association and member of the Disciplinary Commission of the Latvian Bar Association.

Lucijanovs Raivis MBA, RTU Riga Business School	Financial and Managerial Accounting Financial Management
Raivis Lucijanovs is the Chief Financial Officer at LatRosTrans, SIA. Previously he has held financial management positions at Finstrum SIA, Tipro Baltic SIA, and AS Pasažieru vilciens. He has been teaching accounting and finance courses at Riga Business School since 2008.

Mathers Greg MBA, RTU Riga Business School	Organizational Behaviour Leadership Business Communication Skills
Greg Mathers has lived in the Baltic region since 1993. In that time he has established and run 4 different companies. He also has more than 12 years experience in consulting and management development with companies such as SEB, Accenture, Roche, Radisson, Telia, Oracle and others. Since 2001 he has taught leadership and management in the Riga Business School MBA program.

Ozoliņš Māris MBA, RTU Riga Business School	E-business Solutions
Māris Ozoliņš works at Tieto Corporation and is responsible for payment cards software business with 100 customers in more than 30 countries worldwide. In his previous carreer Māris Ozoliņš held different managerial positions in the field of IT and banking services: CEO at Lattelecom Technology, CEO at TietoEnator Financial Solutions, Managing Director at Konts SIA, Marketing Director at BankServiss and Project Manager at Baltic Technology Group.

Pajuste Anete Ph.D., Stockholm School of Economics M.Sc., Stockholm School of Economics	Financial Accounting Managerial Accounting Corporate Finance
Anete Pajuste is an Associate Professor of Finance and Academic Director of MBA programs at the Riga Business School. She has been teaching accounting and finance related courses at Riga Business School since 2000. She received a Ph.D. in finance from the Stockholm School of Economics in 2004. During her doctoral studies, she spent a year as a visiting research fellow at the Harvard University, and a semester at the European Central Bank. In parallel with her academic work, Dr. Pajuste serves as a consultant to small and medium-size companies in Latvia advising on financial planning, investment management, and firm valuation issues. Her most recent engagement involved valuation of a distressed company acquisition.

Rikšis Mārtiņš MBA, RTU Riga Business School	Entrepreneurial Finance
Mārtiņš Rikšis is Managing Partner at Norda Aktivi Ltd. Previously he has held positions in Zaļās Gaismas Investīcijas, Riga City Council, and Riga Stock Exchange. He has been with finance industry for more than 18 years, and during his career has screened more than 300 investment proposals and made investments in technology, communications and media sectors.

Siliņš Toms MBA, New York University, Leonard N. Stern School of Business CFA, Chartered Financial Analyst	International Financial Management CFA Preparation Course
Toms Silins is Chief Financial Officer of Swedbank Baltic Banking and member of the Board of Swedbank AS in Riga. He has over 15 years of experience in the global financial industry, including asset management, sales and trading, finance, and operations. Previously Toms Silins has worked for the Central Bank of Latvia in Riga and for Deutsche Bank Securities in New York. Toms Silins has also served as Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Hansa Fondi. Toms Silins teaches International Financial Management as well as CFA Preparation courses at Riga Business School.

Sproģe Elita MPA, University of Latvia M.Ed., University of Latvia	Project Management
Elita Sproģe formerly worked as Board Member of Pro Kapital, „Siemens” Business Development Department manager. Elita is the owner of her business and has managed more than 20 projects related to the environment, energy, development of NGOs, social sector, legal reforms, development of democratic institutions and HR training. More than 8 years of experience working with an international technical assistance project management. She received education at the University of Latvia, Master degree in Public Governance and Management and Pedagogy. Additional training received at Harvard University, USA (Investment assessment and management, 1998).

Straume Ildze MSc. IT, University of Latvia	Management Information Systems
Ildze Straume is a Senior Consultant at SIA Lattelecom Technology. Her field of expertise is Enterprise Resource Planning system implementation, with specialisation in SAP BI. Before joining Lattelecom in 2009 her professional activities included consultations in ERP and quality management at Siemens, management of IT systems in PriceWaterhouse Coopers and SIA Proexpo. She holds Bachelors degree from the Stockholm School of Economics in Riga as well as Masters degree in Computer science from the University of Latvia.

Ulmanis Juris Ph.D.cand., University of Latvia MBA, University of Connecticut, Store School of Management MIM, Thunderbird – American Graduate School of International Management	International Marketing Management Strategic Marketing Management
Juris Ulmanis spent 18 years with Motorola in various leadership positions in the US and Europe. He has spent the last 6 years teaching marketing and international business at the Riga Business School MBA program and regularly trains and consults many regional businesses in marketing, sales, negotiations and leadership. He manages his private real estate business and is the producer of the theaterical hit, 'The Dad'. In addition to his occasional mountaineering and polar expeditions, Juris is currently a board member of the European Scout Foundation, based in Geneva, and the NATO support group, the Latvian Transatlantic Organization (LATO). PhD candidate at the University of Latvia.

Verlaine Michel Ph.D., ENSAM Paris MA, European University Institute	Investments and Banking
Michel Verlaine is an associate Pr. of Finance at ICN Business School in France. He is specialized in Asset Management related topics and teaches diverse courses ranging from Asset Management, Structured Finance, Fund Governance and Regulation as well as Corporate Finance and Financial Product valuation. Previously, he has been working in public as well as private institutions. Notably, he has been working as an expert for the Luxembourg Government, before and during the Luxemburgish Presidency of the EU and as a consultant at Ernst-Young’s Risk Advisory services. He is a founder of a Latvian-based consulting company through which he is active as a consultant.

Zakatistovs Atis Ph.D., University of Ottawa MA, University of Ottawa	Business Ethics
Atis Zakatistovs is a change and knowledge management consultant to companies in Latvia and abroad. He has also served as a consultant to government institutions in Latvia and Canada. Previously he has been teaching in University of Ottawa, as well as McGill University in Canada.

Vandrup Karsten Technical University of Denmark, Insead, UCLA and Hanken	Strategic Innovation Management
Karsten Vandrup is CEO of High Tech venture Lizard Technology, founder of Latvisoft, Baltic Embedded and Vigrid Group Ltd. Vandrup has had a long career in mobile communication and ICT, including 11 years at Nokia holding senior level management positions in the Danish R&D center, and in the Nokia HQ in Finland responsible for technology strategies. In 2007, Vandrup moved to Silicon Valley – California to head R&D in Litepoint Corp. Currently Vandrup is engaged in several Boards in the ICT and Electronics industry, e.g. RTX Telecom A/S, SIA Latvisoft and SIA Baltic Embedded. During his career, Vandrup has kept a leg in the academia and organizational world, publishing a number to papers on telecommunication, next generation systems and innovation management, contributed to books and served as the chairman of the Danish Technology Foresights Commission on Mobile and Wireless technologies under the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation from 2006-07. Vandrup holds a degree in Engineering from the Technical University of Denmark, combined with management and economical extensions from Insead, UCLA and Hanken. In 2011, Vandrup was visiting professor at Aalborg University in Denmark.

Claudio A. Rivera MBA,Stockholm School of Economics Ph.D., University of Latvia	Personal and Career Development
Claudio grew up in Argentina, but he is based in Latvia since 2004. Most of his career has been developed in consulting, training and research on Leadership and Organizational Behavior at companies and organizations like Elevator International, Turiba Business School, Stockholm School of Economics in Riga, Euromonitor International, Cisco Networking Academy and IAE (the best Business School in Latin America) Claudio has a long track of experience in consulting at the IT, NGOs and HR sectors. He teaches in English, Spanish and Latvian and has been training people in more than 10 countries and from more than 30 nationalities. Claudio has been appointed visiting lecturer for FEN (Poland) for the courses on Leadership and Human Resources run in cooperation with IESE (www.iese.edu), one of the best business schools in Europe. As researcher he has been publishing in several journals and conference proceedings, and he has participated in several international research projects. Overall, Claudio has been extensively involved in professional and higher education. Currently he is one of the leading consultants at MODES project, one of the largest co-funded EU initiatives for modernizing higher education in Europe. Claudio shares his professional career with a broad range of social undertakings in areas connected with education and promotion of family values.
