                - About RBS

Accreditation
At RBS we work hard to be sure that our school meets and exceeds world class standards. RBS programs, faculty, students and facilities grow and develop with constant attention to the high standards set by our customers. We are committed to always measuring ourselves against the best so that we will be “known by the company we keep.”

International Accreditation
RBS is the first state institution of higher education in Latvia to be given the IQA (International Quality Assurance) award. We pursued and obtained CEEMAN (Central and Eastern European Management Development Association) IQA Accreditation because it mirrors our commitments to growth, development and rigorous quality. We are the only school in Latvia with its own MBA delivered in English to have international accreditation.

Institutional Accreditation
In December of 2001, the Republic of Latvia Ministry for Education and Science awarded Riga Technical University full and unlimited accreditation. The accreditation does not have an expiration date, thus reflecting the confidence of the Ministry.
This accreditation certifies Riga Technical University as an institution that can provide higher education and award state recognized degrees in Latvia.

Program Accreditation
RBS MBA programs have the highest possible accreditation awarded in Latvia. Our six year accreditation period began in July of 2002. This accreditation certifies that our MBA programs comply with the highest academics standards. The program was unconditionally reaccredited for another six years in 2009.

… that Riga Business School (RBS) was established in 1991 in cooperation with the State University of New York at Buffalo, USA and the University of Ottawa, Canada. RBS is an independent management – education institution within Riga Technical University (RTU).

RBS MBA programs are the first programs of that kind that have been accredited in Latvia.
