RBS Director meets with the President George W. Bush.


On May 7 RTU Riga Business School Director Dr. Janis Grevins met with the President of the United States of America George W. Bush and the President of Latvia Vaira Vike-Freiberga at the roundtable discussion with the representatives of Latvia's community.

During the discussion the US President praised Latvia's achievements towards building a full-fledged civil society that values democracy and freedom. In a friendly atmosphere, roundtable participants expressed their views on various aspects and issues that Latvia has to address as it continue development. Dr. Grevins thanked US government for its contribution to RBS' development. This contribution has fostered the development of civic society through preparing organizational leaders that value free international trade and transparent corporate practices.

… that Riga Business School (RBS) was established in 1991 in cooperation with the State University of New York at Buffalo, USA and the University of Ottawa, Canada. RBS is an independent management – education institution within Riga Technical University (RTU).

RBS MBA programs are the first programs of that kind that have been accredited in Latvia.
