November, 2005
On November 14 RTU Riga Business School Director Dr. Janis Grevins and the Three Star Order Officer and Chairman of the RBS Advisory Board Mr. Voldemars Innus* presented a new RBS International Executive MBA Program to representatives of the biggest Latvian media.
This new Program differs from its predecessor in its increased international orientation. The new orientation can be easily seen in the Program design. The new Program also clearly reflects the close collaboration among 3 Schools of Management with a larger proportion of the courses led by faculty from the Partner Universities.
The Program format (mainly 4-day monthly modules) is geared to the needs of international participants (potentially coming from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kiev, Minsk, Stockholm, Amsterdam, Helsinki, Copenhagen, Oslo, Berlin, Tbilisi, Baku and Tallinn.) RBS’ unique partnership with airBaltic airline and Reval Hotels provides additional value and ensures maximum convenience to the international participants through special rates and reservations for the Program dates.
For close to 15 years Riga Business School has prepared the leaders of Latvia by providing management education that meets the high benchmark of international standards.
Today’s RBS is poised to move to the next stage of development by preparing managers from Latvia and elsewhere to leap to global success.
* Mr. Voldemars Innus, the Vice President and Chief Information Officer of the State University of New York at Buffalo, was conferred the Three Star Order by the President of Latvia Vaira Vike-Freiberga on November 11, 2005 for his contribution to the development of the management education in Latvia through the establishing and developing the Riga Business School.
