Online Panel Discussion "Managing in Crisis: A Global Perspective"

Riga Business School is delighted to help companies and organizations through live panel discussions online with international experts. We hosted the first discussion two weeks ago. We will continue to organize live panel discussions in coming months, and we hope that topics will be engaging and relevant for you. Today we are happy to announce the next panel discussion "Managing in Crisis: A Global Perspective".  

The COVID-19 emergency situation is still evolving. The disease continues to spread and cover more territories and countries each day impacting economies, industries, markets and life around the world. Companies are facing a new reality and they need to adjust to it. How can companies around the world survive during this pandemic?
 
On April 15, we invite you to participate in the panel discussion "Managing in Crisis: A Global Perspective", listen to international experts, their opinion, best practices or scenarios for dealing with the impact of COVID-19 globally, and ask your questions or share your expertise.
 
In this panel discussion we will explore these scenarios which a company might face and choose depending on what industry they are in and other factors:
  • Continue their business model as is while limiting risk through crisis management
  • Quickly reinvent their business model as the change in their industry is very dramatic and likely to stay
  • Hibernate until the crisis ends
 
Join our 1-hour long panel discussion with leaders from different countries representing different sectors. They will share how they are dealing with the crisis from a global perspective. At the end of this panel discussion, there will be a live Q&A and discussion session.

  Peter Young works with the East West Center which is a public non-profit organization promoting better relations and understanding among the people and nations of the United States, Asia, and the Pacific.
  James Bowen is an entrepreneur and venture capitalist located in Ottawa, Canada. He has founded several companies in the IT industry and is an adjunct faculty member in universities throughout North America and Europe.
  William Schaub is a financial Services executive with more than 25 years experience across North America, Europe and the Middle East. He recently founded Direct Mortgage Capital to make housing loans more accessible to the people.
  Zvezdan Horvat is the director of Adizes South East Europe. He is one of the world’s leading experts in restructuring and transforming organizations. For more than 20 years he has been helping organizations around the world.
