Human-Centered Organization Change – A Guest Lecture at RBS by Valdis Krebs!



Dear Riga Business School students, alumni and the community!


We have the distinct honor and privilege of welcoming Valdis Krebs to Riga Business School for a guest lecture on September 9! A great personality and a true professional, Valdis Krebs is an expert on a wide range of topics in data science and organizational networking analysis.


We conducted a survey to provide you with the most relevant topic to your interests. It was a very tight competition between the two topics out of the three offered, as a result, we will welcome Valdis Krebs with a combined lecture on Human-Centered Organization Change and Understanding Power in Networks, on September 9!


This is a one-of-a-kind opportunity to meet Valdis in person, therefore we encourage Riga Business School students, alumni, partner organizations, and the closest community to be present! 


The lecture will begin at 5.30 p.m. in the Alumni Auditorium on the Riga Business School campus.

Valdis Krebs Bio


He is a founder & Chief Scientist at Orgnet LLC. Valdis Krebs is an organizational consultant, data scientist, and developer of network analysis software. His first organizational network analysis projects were completed while working as an HR Manager in Fortune 500 organizations during the 1990s. Since those early days, he has participated in hundreds of network projects and trained over a thousand people in both the process, and use of software, in performing social network analysis in communities, organizations, and cities around the world.


He has been invited to lecture on a variety of network topics at many universities around the world, including the School of Public Policy, Anderson School of Management at UCLA, Michigan State University School of Labor and Industrial Relations, Weatherhead School of Management - Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland State University School of Communications, University of Michigan Ross School of Business, Kellogg School of Management, School of Communication, Medill School of Journalism all at Northwestern University, Digital Enterprise Research Institute, University of Latvia, Riga Stradins University, Central European University, Copenhagen Business School, University of Kentucky, University of Texas, Ohio State University College of Medicine, Stockholm School of Economics, University of Windsor, and the University of Houston.
