MBA Open Day Insights

We had a great event on November 7 with more than 20 experienced and motivated prospective MBA students. They came to learn about the extraordinary benefits of the RBS MBA programs!

We were delighted to have the founder of RBS and Chairman of the Advisory board Voldemars A. Innus give the opening address. Our Executive MBA program director William Schaub and management program adviser Dagnija Žiba gave an outline of our programs, and their presentation was followed by PMBA alumna Elīna Jakubaņeca and EMBA student Zigmunds Vīķis. They talked about the realities of RBS life and how it has influenced their professional and personal lives. Elīna is a young entrepreneur who founded her own IT company (eBIT) shortly after she graduated from RBS. Zigmunds is a manager of shopping center Alfa and emphasized the value of negotiation and other soft skills that are improved during studies here.

Open Day participants “walked a mile” in the shoes of RBS students during the min-lecture given by our faculty member Greg Mathers. He demonstrated the case method and a short model of leadership used in his class.
