Standardized Admission Test


In cooperation with CollegeBoard, RTU Riga Business School offers the Standardized Admissions Test (SAT).

SAT Test is used as a standardized entrance examination when applying for a Bachelor degree programs at universities in USA. The SAT test has three parts and the total testing time is up to 4 hours.

  • The reading section includes reading passages and sentence completions
  • The writing section includes a short essay and multiple-choice questions on identifying errors and improving grammar and usage
  • The math section includes questions on arithmetic operations, algebra, geometry, statistics and probability.

SAT Subject Tests are one-hour long, content-based tests that allow you to showcase achievement in specific subject areas where you excel. There are 20 SAT Subject Tests in five general subject areas: English, history, languages, mathematics and science. During the SAT Subject Test administration you are allowed to take up to three subjects.

Online registration and test fees:

NB! SAT and SAT Subject Tests are administrated at the same time. If the university you are applying to requires both SAT and SAT Subject Test results, you will not be able to pass both tests in one day. Schedule two dates when you can take the tests.

SAT Test and SAT Subject Tests are administered in English. Official Test scores will be sent to you and the score recipients you designated six weeks after you take the test. Test scores are valid 5 years.
